Wire wrapped hoops

by | | 0 comments
Just got some silver wire I was expecting in the mail -thank you anauli @ etsy.... and decided to make these earrings. I like them a lot! They are sterling silver hoops wire wrapped with semi precious stones, pearls, and Swarovski crystals.

Jewelry making will keep me busy in the near future... which is good... and maybe all my other craft activities too!

Beaded ball set

I made this set with turquoise beads and silver findings... Just love the contrast between the blue and the silver!
I follow the same pattern I published before, but decided to go with round beads... which worked great!
Jewelry is becoming a great stress reliever... and I love it!

I did put this ones up for sale on my etsy store... they are called Turquoise Clusters, so check them out!

I finally found how to make these beaded balls!!! Love them! These ones are 4 crystals on each side... They are more like a square, but still super cute. I found a few tutorials on how to make these, but one of easiest to follow -at least for me! was: http://www.beadjewelrymaking.com/Kid_Art_Project/Kid_art_bead_project/april2005_bead_project.html,
hope you enjoy making them as much as I do!

Halloween blanket in August...

Maybe a little early some people will say, but if I put the fabric away most likely I will forget about it. It didn't take too long, and it came out good for being the first time I made one. Hopefully now I won't forget that I put it away and I'll give it to my son when October comes.
I've been sewing lately, and my scrapbooking is on hold... I have to get some pictures printed before!

My crafty craziness...

I think I need to change the name of my blog for crazy crafter's blog... I just love to craft, even though the time I have to spend doing any craft is pretty limited... it doesn't matter I'll find the time. I've been away from the scrapbooking, and decided to go back to childhood -when I was growing up, I used to help my mom while she was making cloth dolls she sold back then; so I asked my mother to give me the patterns of those dolls I use to help her with -I thought she wouldn't have them, but ohhh! mistake, she did! And I was glad. She helped me make the first one, and we have already cut another few. Now I just have to sew them together. Which I am hoping to do next week. Here are some pics of the first one, and I have created an Etsy store, in which I'll be selling them http://www.chelseasroom.etsy.com/.
I will try to post pics of the next ones I make soon.

Paper Jewelry

Hello! I had to post these earrings I just made.I used green and white paper strips, and the same technique I used for the card pictured on my last post, then I sprayed a coat of acrylic to protect them, and monted them on cute silver flowers!

I will be selling them on my Etsy store... which I just started too - mypaperquilled.etsy.com, along with more cards, jewelry, and whatever else I can make from paper.

It's taking for ever to post anything -my computer wasn't working too good. But it has been restored to factory settings, so hopefully it won't stop working as much now.

Scrapbooking!

I started scrapbooking like a lot of us... when motherhood hit me! At the beginning I thought I would make one scrapbook and that would be the end of it... It has been a little over two years since the scrapbooking bug bit me, and I still love it. I don't have a lot of time to do it, so I haven't done a lot.
Looking for new techniques, I came across
quilling, and I've been enjoying it a lot. So far I've made a couple of spring cards, place cards for Easter, and earrings -yes earrings... I will publish the picture later on. Now, a little impatient boy needs attention!
